Overview:
The Business Department at Central provides coursework that will help our students prepare for their career future. The Business Department offers a wide variety of courses which include, Personal Finance, Communication, Business Law, Business Exploration, Business Math, Stem Discovery Business Work Experience Internship, Business Management, Accounting I & II, Programming, Web Design, and Event Marketing Communications.

Taylor Reed-
Taylor Reed has a a bachelor's degree in business/marketing from Colorado State University and a master's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
This is his 7th year teaching and 5th year at CHS. Prior to CHS, he taught in Salt Lake City for two years.

Graduated college from the University of Illinois, Springfield with a degree in Business Administration. Acquired teaching certificate from the University of Colorado, Denver.
Some fun facts about her, "I spent most of my life in Central Illinois and moved to Grand Junction in 2018. I started working at CHS in the fall of 2019. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and son, riding bikes on the River Trail, and exploring the trails around the valley. I love to crochet and sponsor the Crochet Club here at Central."

FBLA Overview-
Future Business Leaders of America is a high school club that directly feeds into the college sorority Phi Beta Lambda. It is a nonprofit education association with a quarter of a million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. Students that participate in FBLA can qualify for multiple college scholarships.
