Overview:

The Business Department at Central provides coursework that will help our students prepare for their career future. The Business Department offers a wide variety of courses including Computer Applications, Personal Finance, Economics, Business Law, Business Exploration, Business Math, Stem Discovery Business Work Experience Internship, Business Management, Accounting I & II, Programming, Web Design, and Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science Principles.

Mary Doane-

                                    Head of the Business Department

                  Teaches:

            •     Personal Finance                         Business Management

            •     Business Math                            Business Work Experience

            •     Computer Applications              (STEM Elective)

Background: Mary Doane has a Master Degree in Business Leadership.

She graduated from Fort Lewis with a BA in Kinesiology, and is also a Cosponsor

of FBLA.

Ron Tesone-

Teaches:

            •     Computer Applications             AP Computer Science Principles

            •     Business Law                              Economics

            •     Business Exploration

 

Background: Ron Tesone comes from Silver Creek High School in the

Longmont area. He continued education at Mesa State College where he spent

A year then transferred to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Where he obtained a degree in Business Economy and teaching at Metro State.

17 years of teaching experience as well as a football coach.

Penny Siettmann-

Teaches:

Background:  Penny Siettmann went to Colorado State College in Fort Collins

where she obtained her degree in accounting. She has previously taught at Delta

High School. Head of the FBLA

 

Future Business Leaders of America-Is a high school club that directly feeds into the college sorority Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields.
